Ana Paula Rebelo Correia
Doutorada em História da Arte pela Université Catholique de Louvain (Bélgica), onde fez igualmente a Agregação em Metodologia das Artes Plásticas.
É investigadora colaboradora ARTIS-IHA/FLUL e membro do Conselho Consultivo e Cultural da Fundação Casas de Fronteira e Alorna. Investigadora em História da Arte e Iconografia, tem-se dedicado ao estudo da leitura da obra de arte nas vertentes da iconografia e iconologia. Numa área mais específica de investigação, consagra-se ao estudo da iconografia no património integrado (azulejo, estuque, pintura) dos séculos XVII e XVIII. No âmbito do Palácio Fronteira, fez o estudo sistemático dos azulejos, iconografia e fontes de inspiração.
Celso Mangucci
Celso Mangucci nasceu em São Paulo e licenciou-se na Universidade de Campinas, em Antropologia. Residente há muitos anos em Portugal, especializou-se na história da azulejaria portuguesa, com textos monográficos dedicados ao estudo da produção das olarias lisboetas, sobre o pintor de azulejo Valentim de Almeida e o mestre ladrilhador Bartolomeu Antunes. Colaborou também com o Museu Nacional do Azulejo nas exposições temáticas dedicadas à azulejaria do século XVII e à presença da chinoiserie na cerâmica portuguesa, e com a Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian no projecto de reedição da Azulejaria em Portugal no século XVIII, de João Miguel dos Santos Simões. É investigador convidado do Centro de História da Arte e Investigação Artística (CHAIA) da Universidade de Évora e da Rede de Investigação em Azulejo da Universidade de Letras de Lisboa. Actualmente prepara a sua tese de doutoramento sobre a azulejaria Barroca dos colégios jesuítas, como bolseiro da Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia.

PhD in Art History from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium), where she also made her Aggregation in Methodology of the Plastic Arts.
She is a researcher colaborator of ARTIS-IHA/FLUL and a member of the Consultative and Cultural Council of Casas de Fronteira and Alorna Foundation. With her mainly research interests in Art History and Iconography, Ana Paula Rebelo Correio has been particularly focused on the study of the work of art in the aspects of iconography and iconology. In a more specific area of research, she has been devoted mainly to the study of iconography in the integrated heritage (azulejo (tile), stucco, painting) of the 17th and 18th centuries. In the scope of the Palace Fronteira, she made a systematic study of its tiles, iconography and sources of inspiration.
Celso Mangucci
Celso Mangucci was born in São Paulo. He graduated from the University of Campinas, in Anthropology. Resident for many years in Portugal, he specialized in the history of Portuguese azulejos (tiles), with monographic texts dedicated to the study of Lisbon potteries production, on the tile painter Valentim de Almeida and the master tiler Bartolomeu Antunes. He also collaborated with the National Azulejo Museum in exhibitions dedicated to the 17th century tiles and to the presence of chinoiserie in Portuguese ceramics, and with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in the project for the reissue of the book “Azulejaria em Portugal no século XVIII”, by João Miguel dos Santos Simões. He is a guest researcher at the Centre for Art History and Artistic Research (CHAIA) at the Universidade of Évora and at the Rede de Investigação em Azulejo (School of Arts and Humanities, Universidade de Lisboa). Currently he is preparing his PhD thesis on the Baroque tiles of the Jesuit colleges, with a fellowship of the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT).
