Querem experimentar? Os nossos convidados disponibilizam os materiais distribuídos 🙂

Session Overview
With the panels of the MATER exhibition in the background, Fátima Rodrigues and Pedro Freitas began by explaining what they are and what are the four symmetries in the plane: reflection, translation, rotation, and gliding reflection. Drawing on a program developed by the Atractor project, the two guests guided the audience, showing the differences and doing various pattern classification experiments according to the Washburn and Crowe algorithm.
In the next phase, visual and textual keys of the said algorithm were handed out. The objective was to follow the path, identify the symmetries and classify each of the patterns reproduced in the distributed sheets. With some help, the result was very positive! Now we only need to classify about 700 patterns and frames inserted on Az Infinitum … but after this training for sure, we will accomplish it!
Do you want to try it? Our guests provide the distributed materials 🙂
