Françoise Schein é uma importante artista contemporânea a trabalhar o azulejo à escala mundial. Tem dedicado grande parte da sua obra à divulgação dos Direitos Humanos através de obras artísticas de grande escala, em que o azulejo desempenha um papel fundamental. Desde 1997, que estes projectos são elaborados em conjunto com a Associação Inscrire, uma ONG fundada pela artista e dedicada à divulgação de conceitos de cidadania e de Direitos Humanos através de obras de arte participativas.

We met the artist Françoise Schein at the international conference GlazeArt (22 to 23 Feb) and asked her to record an AzLab podcast!
Françoise Schein is an important contemporary artist working with azulejos on a global scale. She has devoted a significant part of her work to the promotion of Human Rights, by means of large-scale artistic creations in which azulejos play a crucial role. Since 1997 (nineteen ninety-seven), her projects have been developed in collaboration with the Inscrire Association, an NGO founded by the artist and committed to promoting different issues related to citizenship and Human Rights through participatory art works.
